In 2005, Uganda faced a severe power crisis that drew international attention. The country struggled with inadequate electricity production and major issues within its distribution network. Although more than a decade later the supply deficit was replaced by increased electricity generation—achieving a surplus by 2013—Uganda still continues to face distribution challenges despite generating excess power.

Considering these ongoing issues, Purevolt has been able to support the region by providing reliable power distribution solutions, including automatic voltage regulators and servo stabilizers.
